Fact: Everyone always thinks it happens to someone other than themselves. Fiction: It always happens to someone other than oneself.

Here me when I say that none are immune from swine flu; or from procrastination; or from lethargy; or from any other academics-hindering vice.

As I sit here in the clutches of mild illness, I ask myself, 'What has become of me? Where is my anal renentive ambition for school work? Where is my drive? How is it possible that I could succumb to laziness and willful distraction?" It must not be so! My life will have order!

An entire month in school has been navigated; September is over. There's still time to jump back, but I fear if I try, I will swing the other direction. My conscious life drive is perfection, but it's a drive that will kill me if I don't keep it checked. All the same, I am particular about getting ALL my homework completed...and getting A's on my tests. B's won't do. But what sort of mentality is that for university???

This is madness, my ramblings. But I have nothing constructive or interesting to say, so I will let my thoughts flow.

Would that I had more time to write a romanctic epic, rather than a boring theology paper...
